Origin & Gushu Character
"Gushu" (古树) literally means "ancient tree" and refers to tea leaves from centuries-old wild tea trees in the highlands of Banzhang. These deep-rooted shrubs draw particularly mineral-rich nutrients, which gives the tea its characteristic earthiness and delicate sweetness.

Fermentation & Processing
After gentle sun-drying, the tea undergoes the traditional "Wo Dui" process (wet-stack fermentation) until it achieves its velvety, well-rounded flavor. It is then pressed into a stable 357g cake and is ready to drink immediately.

Characteristics:

  • Weight: 357g per cake
  • Origin: Organic tea garden in the Banzhang tea region, Bulang Mountain, Yunnan
  • Processing: Traditional methods, combined with modern expertise, ensure perfection and the highest quality.
  • Aroma & Taste: A rich, red and light tea broth with a full, smooth, and silky flavor. The prominent golden tips and pure aroma give the tea a unique depth and complexity.
  • Appearance: Clean cake surface with plump buds and intact stripes that showcase the full flavor of the early spring tea.

Ready to drink & versatile
Unlike the Sheng Pu-erh, this Shu Pu-erh can be enjoyed straight away. It is perfect for anyone looking for a mild, approachable Pu-erh without sacrificing depth and complexity.

Storage & Maturation
Although it is already soft and rounded, Gushu Shucha will gain further richness and depth with cool, dry and light-protected storage.

Preparation instructions

  • Water: 95 °C
  • Dosage: 5 g per 100 ml
  • Infusion times:
    1. Infusion: 20 seconds
    2. Infusion: 25 s
    3. Further infusions: + 5–10 s (up to 8–10 times possible)

Enjoy this exclusive Ziyin Old Orchard Pu'erh tea and let yourself be enchanted by its perfect harmony of tradition and flavor. Ideal for tea lovers and collectors of high-quality teas.

Note: Due to prolonged storage, the paper wrappers may be slightly roughened or discolored, as the tea cakes are stored stacked on top of each other. However, this does not affect the quality of the tea.
